Chrome Foil Art is one of Aura Lab's most striking daytime workshops. Guests use a glue gun to draw their design — outlines, lettering, florals or geometric shapes — directly onto canvas. Once the glue dries to a raised line, sheets of metallic foil are pressed on top to create a high-shine chrome finish. The result is part painting, part jewellery, part contemporary art piece — and looks far harder than it actually is.
What you'll do
Inside the session.

Sketch out your design — we'll guide you through compositions and lettering styles.
- 2
Trace your outline onto canvas using a glue gun (easier than it sounds, oddly meditative).
- 3
While the glue sets, fill the rest of the canvas with paint in your chosen palette.
- 4
Press chrome, gold, rose gold or holographic foil onto the dried glue lines and reveal.
